A few months ago I hated company meetings. Too much explanation, too many people to convince, and meetings reliably produced more meetings. Recently I started looking forward to them — and the reason was concrete. One good meeting now produces one good prompt. With an AI note-taker always on, the conversation is automatic raw material for the next prompt. Yesterday I had a short idea-conversation, had working code thirty minutes after the meeting, shipped it within the hour. That's the new shape of meetings. Operational meetings get absorbed by AI. What's left is the meetings where an idea becomes a prompt. Meetings stop producing more meetings. They start producing work.
